BH they’re okay. Looks like that white van hit them right before, or that they norrowly dodged the hit and then flipped.

the ambulance had a red, and is supposed to slow down at the intersection, even with lights/sirens

Actually, they are supposed to come to a complete stop and then continue…

Lights & Siren does not give you right-of-way

Responding to an Emergency with Lights and Siren Activated does NOT give you right-of-way. When responding with lights and siren activated is not an automatic free pass. Entering an intersection, especially when you have the Red Light, you are to slow up and proceed with due regard. Thankfully no one was injured and an even bigger thankfully they did not have a patient onboard the unit at the time of the accident.
