A Boro Park Hatzalah ambulance overturned at 14th Avenue and 39th Street on Thursday morning.
Sources confirm to YWN that the ambulance was on its way to an emergency at the time of the crash. There was no patient inside.
Two Hatzalah volunteers were treated by Hatzalah; both are in stable condition.
The cause of the crash is unknown.

Responding to an Emergency with Lights and Siren Activated does NOT give you right-of-way. When responding with lights and siren activated is not an automatic free pass. Entering an intersection, especially when you have the Red Light, you are to slow up and proceed with due regard. Thankfully no one was injured and an even bigger thankfully they did not have a patient onboard the unit at the time of the accident.
