Bochurim’s Shabbos in Ft Myers

Chabad Lubavitch of Southwest Florida and Shluchim Rabbi Yitzchok and Nechamie Minkowicz hosted 47 Bochurim from the Miami Zal and their Mashpia Rabbi Velvel Lipskar for a beautiful and inspiring Shabbaton.

The Bochrim arrived Erev Shabbos and first enjoyed swimming in the Chabad pool.

Friday night the Bochrim davened with the community and Rabbi Lipskar shared a Dvar Torah with the community, followed by a lavish Seudas Shabbos in the main foyer of Chabad. Several Bochurim shared Divrei Torah that continued into a very meaningful and inspirational farbrengen with Rabbi Minkowicz until midnight.

Shabbos morning started off with a Shiur in Chasidus by Rabbi Minkowicz followed by Davening and a grand Kiddush that led into a meaningful Farbrengen with the Balei Batim, that went until 4:00 pm followed by a Farbrengen in the Shluchim’s house until 6:00 pm.

The Bochurim took on a Hachlata to learn one Igrot Kodesh of the Rebbe a day for the next 2 weeks.

After Maariv and havdalah, the bochurim enjoyed an outdoor barbeque and night swimming.
