As Yud Shevat is fast approaching, thousands of Bochurim are preparing their journey to Crown Heights, to be with the Rebbe on this auspicious day.
One of the highlight programs of the Bochurim’s stay, will be ‘an hour with the Rebbe’.
On Motzei Shabbos, Yud Alef Shevat, an hour-long video of the Rebbe will be shown. The video includes a collection of Sichos and Nigginim connected to Yud Shevat, Achdus, and Moshiach.
The organizers – A group of 770 Bochurim, led by Rabbi Sholom Charitonov – explain their initiative.
“Years ago when everyone came in Yud Shevat, the highlight was always the Rebbe’s Farbrengen, this year we hope to have that same highlight, and hopefully, with the Rebbe’s Hisgalus,” they said.
Confirmed participating out-of-town Yeshivos include: Buffalo, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, London, Miami, Monsey, Montreal, New Haven, Queens, Toronto, Staten Island. Other Yeshivos are in the midst of being contacted.
The event is to take place Motzei Shabbos, Yud Alef Shevat, 8:00PM – 9:00PM at 770 Eastern Parkway.
The organizers noted, that 770 will be set up as a Farbrengen was in the 5740’s, in order to add to the atmosphere.
The organizers hope that we will indeed merit to a Farbrengen with the Rebbe Kipshuto, with the coming of Moshiach now!
What about yungeleit who feel and act like Bochrim, can we join ? Please someone from the organizers, answer us, Lomoh Nigora ???

Last year there were like 4 screens in 770 besides for the regular screens, and it was very nice that way! I remember actually feeling that the Rebbe will come out and I am now by a Farbraingen of the Rebbe, it was just a crazy feeling.. They even set up the Rebbe’s place for the Rebbe to come out! And I was ready for a Hisgalus! Rebbe, please we are all joining together for you! We all want to see you Rebbe! Please come to your children!

How can yud shevat be the last yud shevat in golus and the first in geulah, if the Hisgalus will be way before that?
anyways it was take a very nice event last year, and i’m sure that this year the organizers will take to a higher level with geshmake clips, more bochurim etc… great job!

Achdus in all Yeshivos worldwide that all come in to CH for the Rebbe! It’s amazing to see! Der Rebbe Lebt! It’s 20 years after Gimmel Tammuz and we are all so coming in waiting for the Rebbe to come back to us! Kol Hakavod!
