“Shluchei Adoneinu, to bring Moshiach Tzidkeinu…”
That’s the song that was sung on Wednesday afternoon in Israel’s International Ben Gurion Airport when a group of Talmidim Shluchim arrived from New York.
These elder bochurim are returning to Chabad Yeshivos around the Holy Land to bring enthusiasm and assist their younger peers with their studies.
Is is a long-held tradition in Chabad and the new group of Talmidim Shluchim received a warm welcome by fellow bochurim, parents and teachers.
“They bring life to the Yeshiva, learn with bochurim and lead farbrengens,” one Rosh Yeshiva commented.
At the airport, the chassidic singing and dancing quickly drew a crowd of curious onlookers watching the dramatic welcome.
