Last week’s Living Torah ended with a cliffhanger. The “My Encounter” told a thrilling story of when Rabbi Yoseph Itzhak Gurewitz was part of a delegation sent by the Rebbe sent to study in Israel.
In this week’s program, we get to hear the end of the story, and a special twist. When Purim arrived, the Rebbe requested that they bring the joy of the festival to soldiers stationed on bases across Israel – some of which were in dangerous places.
As they neared their destination, they were confronted by imminent danger, but motivated by their mission and the Rebbe’s words, they forged ahead with their assignment.
After informing the Rebbe’s secretariat about the events, they thought the story to be over. Imagine their excitement when the Rebbe acknowledged their dedication; a story the Rebbe used as a lesson in life.
Watch till the end to see the Rebbe personally addressing the amazing story.
This Is beautiful
