Rabbonim, Mashpiim and Shluchim gathered in the Zal of Yeshiva Chovevei Torah in Crown Heights last week, joining with the Yeshiva bochurim for a festive Seudas Mitzvah to celebrate a truly special and momentous occasion.
The event was one of great excitement, as it was being held to celebrate a special milestone of one of the bochurim Shluchim in the Yeshiva – Avrohom Boruch Pevzner, son of R’ Sholom Pevzner of Crown Heights – who has completed learning the entire Shas – Talmud Bavli.
Avrohom Boruch began learning two years ago with the goal of completing the entire Shas as a gift to the Rebbe for the 70th year of his leadership, which we celebrated on Yud Shvat of this year.
“It’s known that the Rebbe wanted the temimim to immerse themselves in learning Torah,” Avrohom Boruch said.
Among the many Rabbonim who were seated on the dais for the event were Crown Heights Badatz Rabbi Yosef Braun, Chovevei Torah Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Zushe Winner, Mashpia Rabbi Yossi Paltiel, and Rabbi Nosson Kanelsky, the grandfather of the “chosson hasiyum” who traveled from Israel to participate in the celebration and derive much nachas from his great accomplishment.

It’s just the beginning.
Keep up the Holy work.
