Bnos Menachem High School is proud to present this year’s original musical production “Trust Me.” The show will take place this Sunday, 28 Shevat, February 19th at 2pm and 7:30 pm, and Monday 29 Shevat, February 20th, at 7pm in Razag Ballroom.
Trust Me explores the themes of Emunah and Bitachon, through the experience of Jewish immigrants during the immigration wave of the early 1900s. After landing at Ellis Island, the immigrants faced the travails of crowded tenements and dismal sweatshops that tried to force them to work on Shabbos. As they struggled to hold strong to their Torah values, and keep their children on the right path, it became clear that America is not the Goldene Medina they dreamed of. Trust Me shows how it’s not the hard-earned dollar that will save the day, but true Emunah and Bitachon in Hashem that overcomes life’s many obstacles.
