Bnos Menachem School in Crown Heights is expressing appreciation to its teachers for going above and beyond during the school’s closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Teachers received a letter on Tuesday, signed by the school’s Directors Rabbi Motty Gurary and Rabbi Yosef Simpson, thanking them for their “incredible self-sacrifice” for students.
They will also receive a monetary Pesach bonus, and free Shmurah Matzah for Pesach.
“Despite the enormous difficulties of balancing school closures, home quarantine for entire families, economic hardships, nursing illnesses in some cases, and preparing for Pesach which is difficult enough by itself; the magnificent teachers and faculty of Bnos Menachem have stepped up to deliver amazing classes online without missing a single beat,” the letter read.
“This is new uncharted territory for all of us, yet you rose to the occasion with incredible swiftness so that our precious Talmidos can continue their learning unabated.
“Words don’t do justice for the enormous gratitude and respect for this achievement. You have done Hashem proud. You have done Bnos Menachem proud; you have done the Rebbe proud,” they wrote.
