The Annual Oholei Torah PTA Auction’s women’s event will take place on Sunday, December 3rd, at Oholei Torah Ballroom in Crown Heights.

This year’s women’s event will feature an all-star cast of cookbook authors and food bloggers who will present their expertise at an expo style promenade.

The event is geared to the modern, trendsetting Balabusta who must be organized, cook in bulk, cater to different dietary needs, while at the same time paying attention to the presentation. Guests will enjoy tips, menus and decorating ideas to suit every palate.

The expo will present Chanie Apfelbaum, from Busyinbrooklyn.com who will share traditional recipes with a modern twist.

Rochie Pinson, author of the new cookbook, “Rising – The Book of Challah,” will lead a challah workshop.

For those searching for delicious and show stopping desserts to fill their sweet tooth, stop by cookbook author, Miriam Pascal.

Author Victoria Dwek will share the secret to creating meals that are restaurant worthy. Renee Muller will present modern aesthetic recipes with European Elegance straight from her popular cook book, “Our Table.”

Bloggers Adina Schlass of @thechefswife, Chaya Rappoport of @retrollies, Naomi Ross, of koshercookingconcepts and Sylvia Fallas of cookingformypeople.com will each share beautiful, practical and delicious recipes.

Beth Warren, MS, RD, CDN, will share best practices to help make healthy food choices, physical activities and achieve goals.

Organizers of the PTA auction have reported an overwhelming response and they are expecting a huge turnout. Guests of the event will enjoy lavish hors d’oeuvres desserts, and a buffet dinner. The evening will include special hourly raffles and surprise door prizes.

This year’s auction features new state of the art prizes, including, furniture, trips, amazon, Visa gift cards, a Go Pro and spectacular jewelry.
