Dozens were injured after a grandstand collapsed at a synagogue in Givat Ze’ev in Jerusalem during Shavuot prayers on Sunday evening.
The event started at 7:00pm Israel time when a crowd of hundreds gathered in the new Shul, to sing and dance to mark the momentous occasion.
It is believed that approximately 600 people were at the synagogue at the time of the incident.
A multi-casualty incident has been declared at the scene. Hospitals in Jerusalem are prepared to treat the many victims of the tragedy.
At least 2 people were killed and around 100 were injured, among them 10 critically and seriously.

Does Hashem want us to be congregating in masses ? He sent COVID to prevent us from gathering, now Meron and this on Shavuos ?there must be a clear message , he wants 70% Jews hiding in Eretz Israle with Rocket Rain preventing going out ? I am starting to doubt that Hashem want us gathering like all is normal , maybe is a time of introspection and be in our own homes. My agoraphobia is on level 10…

It was not bleachers in Meron. It was a sudden blockage of a pathway that caused the pushing in Meron.
