To overcome personal challenges, the Rebbe encouraged individuals to strengthen their bitachon—their trust in G-d. The Rebbe emphasized that these matters of faith should not remain abstract, but should be internalized and integrated into one’s consciousness, guiding every thought and emotion.
One practical method of instilling and fortifying bitachon that the Rebbe often recommended in his correspondence was to study the Shaar Habitachon (The Gate of Trust) of Chovos Halevavos. And not just as a one-time study, but to study it time and time again.
In one letter, the Rebbe writes: “I am extremely surprised at your low spirits… Strengthen your trust in G-d… A person studies and studies (regarding Divine Providence, etc.), but when it comes to practical application, where is the bitachon? You should study Shaar Habitachon (the Gate of Trust) in Chovot Halevavot three or four times. It is self-understood that I do not mean that you should study it all at one time, but in the course of a few weeks” (Igrot Kodesh of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, vol. 21, p. 131.)
In line with this guidance and with the mission to make bitachon accessible to Jews worldwide regardless of their level of scholarship, age, or occupation, Chayenu, in partnership with Kehot Publication Society, published the Fellig Edition of Shaar Habitachon, featuring an elucidated translation and commentary culled from classical and chasidic sources.
Continuing in the effort of making the study of Shaar Habitachon available to everyone in all formats, Chayenu is excited to announce that the Gate of Trust is now available on Kindle and Audible. Whether you’re traveling, commuting, or simply prefer reading on the go, you can now access the full translation, commentary, and insights from your device—anytime, anywhere.

I understand that it costs a lot to make a project like this, and that the price isn’t to high, but i think it would have better reach if it was free
