Benny Friedman Announces ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ Unity Tour

Chassidic superstar Benny Friedman aims to expand the unique achdus happening in Eretz Yisroel, bringing it to communities around the globe.

Since the 7th of October, thousands of yidden from around the globe have been packing their bags and heading for Eretz Yisroel for solidarity missions, aiming to feel at least a taste of the incredible achdus the Jewish people are experiencing on the ground there.

“It got us thinking, how can we expand, and bring that feeling of unity to the yidden in their own communities?” singer Benny Friedman told COLlive.

It didn’t take long for Friedman’s production team to come up with the solution: an “Am Yisrael Chai” unity tour.

“In order to do this right, we created packages to cater to smaller out of town communities,” tour organizer Chaim Zippel told COLlive. “That enables us to include smaller communities that have tried to bring Benny down to perform in the past, but were not able to.”

Friedman’s production team circled the first half of February for the tour, and pieced together what they are calling a “plug and play show”, enabling communities to be able to bring it to their city, without taking on the headache of producing a concert.

The show will include legendary musical director Gershon Freishtat, who is working on a beautiful selection of songs befitting such an evening.

As excitement builds, shows have already been announced in Sao Paulo, Toronto, Las Vegas, Dallas and Salt Lake City, with more yet to be announced. Some of the cities have also added guest stars like Moshe Tischler.
