An event marking the Shloshim of Dr. Moshe Feldman, longtime Crown Heights community doctor, took place Thursday in Crown Heights.
Family, friends, patients and colleagues gathered to remember Dr. Feldman and his dedication to his patients.

Over the past month I’ve thought of Dr Feldman often…and I want his family to know so many people are thinking of him. I have so many memories of rainbow wallpaper to prizes to the posters of kids’ drawings on the wall. Doctor Feldman was a storybook doctor of yesteryear. Keen intelligence matched with true care. Doctor Feldman was incredible person and amazing doctor that is missed dearly. I was watching last night and cant believe it was real. It was so much i got to know about his life and see how more special he and his his wife were. We have lots of personal stories how doctor Feldman helped our family How D. I was limping holding my heels at his grandson’s wedding. He offered me his walker saying “You need it more than I do!” His good humor and positive spirit were just a slice of his multi faceted personality.
Why was he never refered to as the rofeh yedid of the community-given his seniority?
This dr did so many kindnesses. I was the recipient once when I was younger. So sincere and kind, really and truly cared. Once I heard him speak at an event about the importance of laughter, he told a story of how someone who was told he was very ill went up a hotel and watched funny movies and laughed for two or three days straight- and when he went back to his doctor, the illness had gone:) I hope that dr Feldman found a way to be happy til the end.
