I was told by a great person, “If the Rosh would have remained a misnaged, they would have made a getchkeh out of him and bowed to him”. The entire Schochet Family are Torah royalty. Each of them are outstanding Rabbonim, Rosh Yeshivas, authors and community leaders. This is not usual! They are a gift to Chabad.

Miracles!
February 7, 2020 3:27 pm

In the mid-1950’s the Rebbe made a miracle for one of the Schochet baby daughters and the whole family became Chabad. The senior Schochet was Chief Rabbi of Holland and brother-in-law to Rabbi Chodakov – a tremendous talmid chochom. Since then, all of the 10 children, all the 100+ grandchildren and even the many great grand children are powerhouses in Torah and communal leadership. That’s 3-4 or more generations!
