the “business is about trust” idea is flawed in two areas:
1. patents are made to discourage people OUTSIDE of your business from making your product first. there’s no need for trust in a relationship that you don’t have.
2. would you rather risk losing your product to an eavesdropper to maintain trust, or risk losing your idea, your product, and money to preserve a relationship with an untrustworthy person?
no need to respond; the question was entirely rhetorical.
