In honor of Elul 15, the founding day of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim by the Rebbe Rashab, we present a beautiful discussion about “What is Temimus?” (wholesomeness).
This is an excerpt of the Rebbe’s Rashab’s famous Hemshech Ayin-Beis, the series of Maamarim whose centennial celebration is this year and for the first time is being translated to English.
Published with the Hebrew and English text side-by-side, the maamar discusses “Temimus” of mind, heart and deed, while also pointing out two levels of Trust in Hashem (one, where we must make a Keli, one in which making a Keli for the Brocho is actually detrimental!).
The author is also the founder of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim, The Rebbe Rashab.
COLlive thanks the Chayenu daily learning publication for providing the excerpt from their upcoming Sukkos Issue (which is already in print).
Chayenu has undertaken the revolutionary task of translating one concept a week from the weekly Ayin-Beis ma’amar (of the corresponding Parsha, 100 years ago), with permission of Kehot Publication Society.
Chayenu is available for purchase in Crown Heights bookstores and groceries, as well as shipped internationally (for as low as 0.36c a day). For more, visit chayenu.org
