Bais Shmuel-Chabad, the flagship Shul in Crown Heights, is embarking on stage one of a capital campaign to build a better future for our community.
The Shul which is renowned for its warm community, innovative programming, and for providing an open and inviting place to visit for all those who arrive from around the world, is holding a $1 million campaign to raise funds for its expansion.
Bais Shmuel-Chabad, which until now has not had a place of its own, has procured a prime space at Union Street and Albany Avenue in Crown Heights and will be working towards the betterment of the entire community with the building of a welcoming new Shul, social hall, and housing for our community.
“Crown Heights is where the Rebbe encouraged us to build and grow,” says Rabbi Moshe Pinson, Founder and President of Bais Shmuel Chabad. “Kan Tziva Hashem es Habrocha – this is where 770 is, and where Lubavitch will continue to flourish and thrive until Moshiach comes.”
Today, thanks to generous matchers: The 2F Group, Lipa and Alexsandra Lieberman, Dovid and Maggie Rogatzky, Friends of Bais Shmuel, Sam and Brochi Stern, Dovid and Chana Junik, M and C, and Shmulik and Eiska Aizenberg, all donations will be quadrupled for the duration of the campaign.
Whether you are a high-school student, a young professional, married, single, parent, or grandparent, resident, visitor or Shliach―there is something for everyone at Bais Shmuel.
Join us and together we can open up new growth, opportunity, and impact for everyone and anyone in the Crown Heights community.
Your donation gives us the necessary funding to build a beautiful new space with the resources and support to meet our community’s needs at a fundamental level.
In merit of your generous contribution, may you continue to RI$E UP in all of your endeavors, reaching new levels of bracha, hatzlacha, nachas, parnasa, and simcha.

Where is the land for the shul?
where’s this new location, and the specifics of this bold and noble facility?
I hope you are building underground parking for your residents. There already is a difficulty finding parking at that corner – without the addition of a shul and residential Bldg.
