Bais Schneur Zal, (also known as Long Island Zal) is opening registration for the coming Yeshiva year.
The Yeshiva is entering its second year following its first year of incredible success.
Bais Schneur is moving from their current location in The Hamptons, NY to a larger location in Luzerne county, Pennsylvania, near the Chabad Kingston community, to cater to the growing amount of Bochurim that are interested in Bais Schneur.
The building includes a dormitory for 40 students, Zal, Mikvah, classrooms, lunchroom and plenty of space for recreation.
Its quiet, small town setting, with amenities, stores, state of the art JCC, and close proximity to the Chabad community of Kingston, prove it to be a setting conducive to learning and personal growth.
“We are looking forward to a successful year of learning, Chassidishkeit and connection to the Rebbe,” the Hanhalla says.
Stay tuned for announcements about our new teachers and Learning Program that we are adding to Bais Schneur this year.
Here is a short overview of some of what Bais Schneur is proud to offer:
• A wide range of classes from Gemoroh L’iyun and Hashkofo Shiurim that address the minds and hearts of the Bochurim, to Pre-Smicha, Maamorim, Sichos and Chassidus Applied.
The multi-level learning program is built to provide challenge and stimulation for each Bochur, while providing personal attention to ensure that he has the tools necessary to advance in learning.
• Our method of Chinuch focuses primarily on personal relationships with the Bochurim in a climate of warmth, connection, honesty and trust. The overall environment of Bais Schneur is one of growth, joy, Chassidishkeit and friendship.
• In addition to the full schedule of learning, the Bochurim are encouraged to utilize their breaks exercising at the local athletics center, or to develop personal creative expression with music or various computer programs.
• Outside of Seder, the Bochurim get inspired through Shabbatons, Mivtzoim, creating special Mivzta’s, and if logistically possible, the legendary Kvorim Trip to the Rebbeim in Ukraine.

its a solid place to grow
My relative was there this year. Was so satisfied and well cared for.
My nephew was there this year. He had an extraordinary experience. The Hanhala and staff care to make it a place students want to be. He’s looking forward to next year!
So glad to see this Yeshiva succeeding and expanding to open its doors to so many of our Boys who need a great Yeshiva like this. Our own Chabad infrastructure needs to be strong with great Mosdos like Bais Schneur to cater to our boys!
May Hashem Bless you with even greater success in the future.
You are making the Rebbe proud!

I visited the yeshiva last year for shabis, and I also visited the new location, i have learned volumes from my nephew mendel sasson (SHOUT OUT!) about the psychology of a 2020 chabad bocher.. wow, the yeshiva is superior in education and self development (aka avoda.. in chabad language), head and shoulders above any other similar institution i have encountered and i believe that by 2025 every yeshiva that wants to succeed will have to follow suit in philosophy in order to attract any independent minded bocher (next time you take a look around kingston Avenue you might find that… Read more »
