This Wednesday, the girls at Bais Rivkah Preschool had the privilege of participating in a meaningful event in preparation for Yud Shevat.
The hallways and stairways were beautifully transformed into a vibrant באתי לגני garden, creating a delightful atmosphere for the girls as they journeyed through a series of interactive exhibits.
The event provided them the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning and explore key concepts, including באתי לגני and דירה בתחתונים. They also moved through an imaginative מצוה tank full of mitzvah opportunities.
Throughout this immersive experience, the girls explored several of the ten Mivtzoim. They watched a video of the Rebbe distributing coins to encourage צדקה, and they had the chance to contribute as well. They delved into the מאמר of באתי לגני, drawing מצוות related to אהבת ישראל to help bring the שכינה closer and learned that אהבת ישראל can be practiced at every moment, crafting clock crowns to symbolize this. They also constructed the בית המקדש with “bricks”. The girls participated in מבצע מזוזה, searching for the letters of their names on שמע cards, which they then adorned with dot paintings. Lastly, they explored מבצע נש”ק by decorating candlestick art with shiny, sparkly gems.
Throughout the experience, the morahs skillfully guided the girls with warmth and enthusiasm, making the lessons meaningful and enjoyable. The excitement was felt throughout the preschool as the girls connected to the Rebbe’s teachings in a tangible way.
We are sure that we will soon merit the true גאולה and complete revelation of the שכינה in the דירה בתחתונים, adorned with the mitzvos of these young students, the Rebbe’s kinder.
Bais Rivkah extends its heartfelt appreciation to Chani Greenbaum Events for generously donating the beautiful flowers in honor of Shayna Greenbaum’s 5th birthday. A special thanks to JEM for providing the perfect Rebbe video for our girls and the Mivtzoim Shop for their kind donation of נש”ק supplies.
