Preparations for the Bais Rivkah Production in Crown Heights, an annual tradition in honor of Chof Bais Shvat, are well underway.
With more than 500 students involved, creating a production of this magnitude is hard work but very worthwhile. All the songs used for choirs and dances are Chabad niggunim, adding an educational benefit. The much-anticipated yearly song-and-dance-fest has become a beloved tradition for women of the community and visiting shluchos.
“This year’s musical production is titled ‘Shatter the Illusion’ and will be a spectacular show that you will not want to miss,” organizers said.
This year’s performance portrays an old time chassidic moshul, bringing it to life, and leaving the audience with its powerful message, inspiring our generation to shatter the illusion of Golus and to change our mentality to live with a Geula reality!
This year’s production will take place at a new location, the Prospect Heights High School at 883 Classon Avenue in Crown Heights.
