Helping Our Own (HOO) is an organization of Bais Rivkah High School that volunteers with families with new babies, those needing the assistance of Bikur Cholim, and with various families and individuals in the community.
Combined, these volunteers visit over 200 families and 35 seniors.
Here are two activities that enhanced their weekly visits and highlight their continued dedication to our community.
Chocolate chip cookie dough was shared between HOO volunteers and recipients as a way of bringing happiness and joy to those involved. The volunteers continue to give of themselves and truly embody the phrase: “A Chosid is a Giver.”
Below are some testimonials from a few of the 400 HOO volunteers at Bais Rivkah High School who generously volunteer to help those in our community.
“It’s fulfilling to do HOO and to see the mother so happy when we come.” – Shaina Perl, 9th Grade
