Public letter from the administration of Bais Rivkah of Crown Heights to the school’s parents:
As you may be aware legislation was recently passed by the legislature of the state of New York eliminating non-medical exemptions from vaccination requirements. As a result of this legislation which was signed into law by Governor Cuomo on June 13th, religious exemptions are no longer available and all students without a proper medical exemption must be in compliance with the age-appropriate vaccination requirements.
These requirements will be strictly enforced by the NYS Department of Health as well as the NYC Department of Health. Attached hereto is a document received from the NYS Department of Health which provides additional information.
Please be advised that Bais Rivkah will take all steps appropriate to protect the health of our students, faculty and staff and to remain in compliance with all applicable governmental requirements.
Effective September 2019, no child, including both current and incoming students, will be admitted to any grade in Beth Rivkah – preschool through 12th grade – unless she is up to date or has begun receiving vaccinations.
As set forth in the attachment, within 30 days of the start of school all students must provide evidence of scheduled appointments for the required follow-up vaccinations. Children without medical exemptions who are not in full compliance with the vaccination requirements will not be permitted to attend school after Yom Tov.
As you can see from the attachments the state can and we believe will impose penalties for non-compliance. Bais Rivkah will do its part and we hope that we can rely on your full cooperation in complying with these regulations to ensure the health of all concerned. Please be advised that Beth Rivkah will seek reimbursement from parents for any fines imposed on Beth Rivkah as a result of a failure of parents to comply with the state requirements.
We urge you to make arrangements with your daughter’s health care provider as soon as possible to obtain the appropriate vaccinations and to be ready for the upcoming school year.

as far as i know many pp who got the flu shot this year came down with the flu right after, and they never got the flu before. So it just shows that the flu shot does not protect you from it!!!!

my father is currently in the hospital after heart issues/diabetes and his life is being saved with the help of what you would call a pharmaceutical scam. What serious medical conditions can you treat with your ideas?
How come you think you know better than the Rebbe? He was aware of the risks but still said vaccination is important. And then you tell us we are ignorant? It is you who have fallen prey to conspiratory thinking. “The government is out to get us,” “All the doctors are lying” etc. ad nasusium

Vaccinations are important, but they can be used and abused like everything.
I don’t think the Rebbe “needed” to say that.
Do your homework. The ingredients are killing our children.
The Rebbe was emphatic that vaccination is essential. He knew the risks, but still said that you must get vaccinated. I don’t understand how you think you know better than the Rebbe.
So send your girls elsewhere, but don’t let your ignorance of science make my granddaughter sick! SHE HAS A MEDICAL EXEMPTION! Would you like YOUR child to be in that position? Didn’t think so.

Just look at the cancer doctors – to have an idea how good and how smart they are. Chemotherapy is 3% successful. Cancer today is a dreadful disease. Not because it can’t be cured. But rather, because BigPharma needs disease to flourish to make their money.
Teachers should have their titers done!!! And then have any vaccinations needed!
Some teachers may not be immune. I agree with the poster who suggests flu shots/nasal spray. My daughter, a teacher, had her titers checked and gets a flu shot every year.
Protect our students health and comply with state regulations may not turn out to be one and the same. I don’t envy your position but I pray the administration doesn’t regret their strict enforcement policy in years to come.

They are just following the law. With G-Ds help, when the law is overturned, they will follow Halacha and accept all the children back.
It’s sad that the school did not follow Halacha, and needed the government to force it to do so. According to Halacha, a doctor’s decision must be followed.
How will there be penalties if you are going to be in full compliance!
Presumably, the Dept of Health will want to see proof of immunizations. Let’s just hope there aren’t forgeries, as we have heard about in the past. If BR or any school has students who are not compliant they will be fined.
Even doctors are more in the dark about vaccinations.
Not because they don’t understand the process. They simply don’t know and don’t learn about the horrible effects of mercury (an adjuvant of the virus introduced), nor do they know the effects of a virus supplanting part of a genome, which can cause, e.g., anti-autoimmunity. And never mind that viruses can then mutate to become more virulent. Most people with polio today were polio-vaccinated in the past. Same with measles, which now allows a more virulent strain to show up, and effect children at an even earlier age.
