goat milk. It is the closest thing to the quality of mother’s milk.
zirkind in NJ has goats, empire kosher also sells goat milk? i think so.
it is a great option.
there is one thing. the taste can be an issue.
apparently, there is a trick to getting the goat milk to taste “less goaty”…..epes something to do with keeping the males away from the femaies…no sure.
sharing what little i know.

where on earth did you hear that? you can start nursing again once the baby goes on formula

Boy, have you opened up a can or worms.

Your comment is totally redundant. If a person is not nursing and uses formula, they cannot start nursing, it’s too late, what should a baby do, starve??

Not to mention that it is none of your business who nurses and who doesn’t.

#2 not every mother can nurse. My baby did not thrive on nursing and I needed formula not just because its easier but because my child cannot exist without it. No need to post such an ignorant comment. And yes, I worked with a lactarion consultant and tried everything and my baby would not gain weight at all. Formula is very important to some of us.

Its a very sensitive topic, I know mamy moms who would love to nurse their babies,

Very ignorant to assume that Mom’s don’t nurse because there’s a formula option. Nursing isn’t for everyone (moms and babies alike!) and its wonderful that there are other options out there.
