A Jewish woman was the victim of an attempted assault on Sunday afternoon on Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights.
The victim, a Jewish woman who was with her baby in a stroller, was walking near 930 Eastern Parkway at approximately 3:15 pm when an Asian male approached her and motioned as if he was about to punch her, police said.
The woman was frightened and jumped back, she told police.
The male has a known history of psychological problems, police said.
A canvass of the area was conducted, and Shmira volunteers located the perp on Winthrop and Albany Avenue. He was arrested for menacing. Hate crimes unit was notified of the incident, police said.

Make the government new rule that all shelters residents to be screened and checked by the mental health care once a week and all who are sick or dangerous must be hospitalized and locked down to the mental institution.
