Two Jewish boys who were smacked and harassed by a group of boys in Brooklyn is the latest in a spate of anti-Semitic hate crimes, police said Wednesday.
A group of teens, one wearing a ski mask, attacked a Jewish 14-year-old boy, smacking him in the head and knocking his yarmulka off as he walked near Eastern Parkway and Albany Ave. in Crown Heights at about 6 p.m. earlier this month.
They then knocked the hat off another 15-year-old Jewish boy a few feet away. They ran down Albany Avenue toward Saint Johns Place and threw the hat to the ground, police said.
The victims, who were clearly Jewish and fully dressed in traditional Jewish clothing, were not hurt.
Their assailants, who did not say anything, ran off and are being sought. Cops released surveillance video of the suspects Wednesday and asked for the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the attack, they said.
The suspects were all described as male teenagers.
One was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a dark jacket and a ski mask. Another was last seen wearing red hooded sweatshirt, grey hooded jacket with a backpack. The third was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, white sneakers and a backpack. The fourth was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a dark fur lined hooded jacket, and the fifth was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans and dark sneakers.
All of the boys were described as having a thin build except for the teen in the ski mask.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

This is getting ridiculous!! I’m really sick of reading these articles!
I think we need to install a system were if these meshugunus keep this up they get smacked back! Fear enough!
Enough with being so politically correct!
We need to stand up for ourselves!
I’m sick of this blatant anti-Semitism
I agree with you 1,000 PERCENT.
Takes brains to figure that out. And will they actually be arrested and suffer consequences which might deter them from causing more damage for.. the next 6 months?
Every single day that I use the train for work at Kingston and Eastern Parkway I see 5 or 6 calmly jumping the turnstile (just in the few minutes that I wait upstairs) and often calmly opening the gate for a friend. I have never once in all these years seen one arrested or even given a ticket. The lady in the toll booth doesn’t react. They have been given a sense of entitlement which makes them think that it’s ok to steal, assault and do whatever they want without self control. The only time I ever heard of someone… Read more »
1) It has been reported that the kids were tracked to the Albany Housing Projects a) Place Reward Posters inside the Albany Housing Projects b) Place posters indicating anonymous reward money inside the local schools that the kids from the Albany Projects would attend. c) Review the surveillance cameras inside Albany Houses and push for more cameras in and out of the projects – this is not the first anti-Semitic crime originating from the Albany Houses 2)Political steps a) Push for more facial recognition technology b) Push the new NYPD Police Commissioner to bring back the Hasidic Decoy Program. of all the suggestions you offered, which are you going to do yourself?
I reply to your question, I would get petitions from each of the Shuls and hand them to the local city councilwomen, and ask them for a letter, exactly like Simcha Felders asking for more cops , more cameras and the return of the Hasidic Cop decoy program. I would also try organizing a voting drive. I have tried this with two local Shuls but there is a lack of interest. That is the reason for my comment to hope to spur interest and action.

Is it possible to arrange private armed security to patrol ch?
Just EXACTLY like the crown heights riots, 1. Police on EVERY SINGLE corner at ALL times !!! 2. Bring in the guardian angels !!!
Nothing will stop but only huge punishment and community service to clean streets and 770 /subway restrooms with a police officer supervision. They need to have a lesson
