Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa declared his support for Israel’s fight against terrorism during a visit Sunday to the Western Wall.
The visit, came as part of Noboa’s diplomatic visit to Israel, included a delegation led by Ecuador’s Foreign Minister and the country’s ambassador to Israel.
Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who is the Rabbi of the Western Wall and Holy Sites, accompanied the president and explained to him the deep significance of the site as the spiritual, national, and historical center of the Jewish people throughout the generations.
The two men read Psalm 121 together before Noboa approached the Western Wall and offered a silent prayer.
According to a statement from the Western Wall Foundation, Noboa said he prayed for success in his role, for peace for his people, and for the strengthening of ties between Ecuador and Israel before placing a personal note between the stones.
Following the visit, Noboa expressed unequivocal support for Israel and the Jewish People, and pledged that Ecuador would continue to stand by Israel in its fight against terrorism.

One more South American country stands with Israel
If you are at all aware of the politics and dynamic of Ecuadorian people and current events there and their government. The president of Ecuador came to Israel because of his seeking security aid and support FROM ISRAEL. So this is nothing really. He has nothing in his own country materially or spiritually.
