President Donald Trump said Thursday at a ‘Fighting Antisemitism’ event in Washington DC that the upcoming US election is “the most important” in Israel’s history.
In the first of two speeches to Jewish groups on Thursday, Trump warned an ebullient and high-energy audience of Jewish leaders, elected officials, and students from all over the East Coast that the Jewish state would be “eradicated,” “wiped off the face of the earth” and “cease to exist” if Kamala Harris wins the presidency.
The event was organized by Yehuda Kaploun, Co-Founder and President of RussKap Water, who served as the MC for the event. Kaploun said that antisemitism on college campuses has reached unprecedented levels, and noted that it is “currently safer for a Jew to walk with a Kipah in Abu Dhabi than on a college campus.” He said that it is incumbent on every single one of us to not remain silent in the face of antisemitism.
Invocations for the event were given by Mark Rosenberg, director of (CSE) Chesed Shel Emes and Chaplain of Florida Highway Patrol, and Rabbi Yaakov Kaploun.
The event included remarks by GOP megadonor Miriam Adelson, who introduced Donald Trump onstage, after speaking to a group of students who have faced antisemitism on campus.
Adelson implored the students to begin wearing a Kippah and Jewish star proudly while at school. “You will see that other people, Jews and others, will join you and stand with you,” she said.
Trump called on Harris to “officially disavow the support of all Hamas sympathizers, antisemites, Israel haters on college campuses and everywhere else.”
Trump promised to defeat antisemitism and “defend our Jewish citizens in the United States of America. My administration will inform every college president if they do not end antisemitic propaganda, they will lose their accreditation. If they permit violence or harassment of Jewish students, the schools will be held accountable for violations of civil rights law,” he said.
Trump said he will protect Jewish people on American streets, noting that Jewish people have been beaten on their way to Synagogue in Los Angeles, Jewish American businesses have been vandalized, and “the Biden-Harris administration has done nothing,” he said.
Trump said that he recognized the capital of Israel and opened the Embassy in Jerusalem, as well as gave Israel the Golan Heights. He also mentioned the historic Abraham Accords as well as the fact that he terminated the Iran nuclear deal, which was the “worst deal ever made in the history of Israel, in the history of the Middle East,” Trump said, to great applause.
Trump promised to not only “make America great again,” but to “make Israel great again.”
During his speech, Trump also said that the recent poll numbers of Jewish voters were disappointing to him. “A poll just came out. I’m at 40%,” Trump said. “That means you got 60% voting for somebody that hates Israel. And I say it, it’s going to happen. It’s only because of the Democrat hold or curse on you. You can’t let this happen. Forty percent is not acceptable, because we have an election to win. Any Jewish person that votes for her, especially now, her or the Democrat Party, should have their head examined.”

Though I will vote for Trump I think he should be told not to say what he thinks will happen to E Y. if he is not elected.
In a way I was thinking sometime like that. He was a WONDERFUL president. I feel I didn’t thank G-d often enough when he was president. Prayerful that we’ll get a second chance. A Jews—Yehudim— our thanks to and acknowledgment of G-d is part of our very name. And we believe that dibbur has koach (speech has power) so of course I would want to hear that G-d will always protect and defend Israel no matter who He puts in power and at the same time Donald J.Trump is determined to always be one of G-d’s strong messengers to defend… Read more »
Deep down in your heart, you know that everything Trump is saying about Israel is (sadly) 100% correct. The issue is that your ego is upset that you were wrong about for all these years. And the more you were wrong about him, the more you double down and decided that he is evil. Now Jews who are suffering from TDS yet love Israel, are forced to Confront The ultimate question: ‘do I love Israel more than I hate Trump?’ Hoping and praying that their love for Eretz Yisroel will prevail! Thank you so much you COLLIVE for this beautiful… Read more »
The person was just saying that he or she wishes Trump didn’t use that kind of doom predicting language but otherwise seems to understand that Trump is wonderful. The comment didn’t show any TDS, just a wish to get a message to him so things will be even better with Trump.
