Will You Take the Covid Vaccine?

Your option: Israel announced that 703 residents of Kfar Chabad have been vaccinated against Covid-19. If the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines were offered to you today - would you take them and why? Comments

Why play Russian roulette with your life? There is no way to predict who the plague will hit, how it will affect the person nor the long range affects of it. To those who question the rapidity of the vaccine release – thank G-d that He allowed the usual delays in medical cures be waived.

I would wait 3 0r so months to assess the effect of the initial vaccination program.
Further, companies like Johnson and Johnson and Zeneca are going to be offering a one shot vaccine in the very near future.

meaning to say despite the fact that clinical trials have already done this (vaccinate many and wait several months to see how it goes), you want a further trial on other people before you will join? You want to live ‘rent free’ in a herd immunity and only later vaccinate to give back to the herd. Hmm.

How will this provide herd immunity?

How will this provide herd immunity?Fauci himself said that they hope it will keep people out of the ICU. It will not stop transmission of this virus.” Vaccinated” ppl will still contract and spread the virus but the hope is they will not get as sick .

There is the Zelenko Protocol.
No vaccine is necessary.

No vaccine and shutdown is necessary. Masks also are a waste of time.
58% of Americans would not have died if they had enough vitamin D in their bodies.
Zinc also lacking.
Pfiz cannot be trusted. They received the 2.3 billion dollar fine from the United States government.
They do not stand financially for damages behind their product.

This is the first ever mRNA vaccine. It is 100% experimental, and the speed at which it has been developed and tested precludes us from knowing much about its side effects, especially in the long term.

As of December 18, 2020, the adverse event rate in the U.S. was 2.79%. This means your risk of harm from the vaccine is far greater than your risk of dying from COVID-19, which has an overall noninstitutionalized infection fatality rate of just 0.26%.

Among those under the age of 40, the COVID-19 infection fatality rate is a mere 0.01%.

Until now it has been mostly the older population, which has been vaccinated. Kfar Chabad has a much larger young population than old, which is why not as many people have been vaccinated there. Also, don’t know where you got your numbers from, but Kfar Chabad has about 6,500-7,000 people, so the real number is about 10% having been vaccinated.

I’m not against vaccines in general. What worries me is how fast these vaccines were rolled out. It normally takes years to get approval, so this seems very abrupt
I’m waiting for now until there is more date on the vaccines and maybe a 2.0 version or better ones from other pharmaceuticals

  1. A prototype vaccine for this kind of pandemic has been in the pipeline for many years. When COVID started they had to modify the vaccine for the specifics of COVID-19 but they were not starting from scratch.
  2. The delay in vaccines being approved is usually due to funding, – the vaccine development takes part in stages, – after each stage the developers require more funding to continue, – this can take many years. These COVID vaccines have been well funded with urgency for obvious reasons.

As a preschool teacher, I was offered the option to take the vaccine. As of now I am not taking it. Before I do so, I would need to get direction from my trusted medical professional. I need to know whether he recommends that a young woman who had covid already should be taking it now. Until now I am hearing a lot of strong opinions, but none are from those I trust to be my professionals. Follow a Rofe Yedid!

California’s state epidemiologist is urging a halt to more than 300,000 coronavirus vaccinations using a Moderna vaccine version because some people received medical treatment for possible severe allergic reactions.
Dr. Erica S. Pan on Sunday recommended providers stop using lot 41L20A of the Moderna vaccine pending completion of an investigation by state officials, Moderna, the US Centers for Disease Control and the federal Food and Drug Administration.

I want to know how long immunity lasts from this vaccine. Right now we have no idea. Will people need to get re-vaccinated every six months? I would like to have some data on autoimmune conditions that may arise from it. Will the body turn on its own proteins that may be similar enough to the spike protein and cause autoimmune disorders? But most importantly, I want to know if there is any data that ME getting the vaccine protects someone else. The only reason someone of low risk would take a new vaccine, that we don’t know it’s safety, would be to protect others who are higher risk. But if all the vaccine does is prevent a person from being sick, but doesn’t stop transmission (as was announced that they “don’t know” if one can transmit the virus after a vaccine), why would anyone who has a 99.99% survival rate, take a vaccine which at best will make them sick for a few days (not including all the other possible side effects). Especially if someone recently recovered from covid and has… Read more »

To add, though, if I was a community doctor or other community figure, I would urge others to take it. From a public health perspective, it’s a no-brainer, even if it was only 25% effective.

For an individual, it is more nuanced – especially if it does not prevent transmission.

As many have discussed , let’s examine the risk/benefit ratio of this particular vaccine… on the one hand, we have determined (even among the most optimistic reports,) some severe reactions…. even in the course of the few short weeks since it’s been “rolled out”(and that’s not even taking into consideration, that the first vaccine is weaker than the follow-up one , and the effects may be cumulative and/or become more evident over time)…. On the other hand, in terms of benefits, we’re not being promised ANYTHING…the efficacy of the vaccine has not been established to be more than 6 weeks… Read more »

100%. Look at the data. The real data. Not the fake data that gave it to people after 5 days, or only gave HCQ or also with azithromycin. It needs to be all 3 (HCQ, Zithromax, Zinc) right in the beginning of symptoms.

many things can be true at once.

  1. Vaccine is a good thing here to help
  2. It is understandable for young healthy people to be more scared of a new vaccine than actual covid as it is generally harmless to them.
  3. Vaccine science is real and antivaxxers should be in cherem.

“the ability or willingness to tolerate something, in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree,”
