Chabad Girls Academy (CGA) is thrilled to announce its remarkable achievements and successful endeavors achieved this past year. For parents in search of a warm and chassidishe middle school for their daughters, Grade 5-8, CGA has proven to be an exceptional choice. With a focus on cutting-edge, current, and relevant academics, CGA has invested tremendous funds and efforts to ensure that each student’s educational journey is tailored to their individual needs.
To guarantee a well-rounded and personalized learning experience, CGA has hired a professional and highly trained curriculum developer. Our curriculum head has collaborated closely with the teachers, assisting them in creating customized curricula and academic goals for each student. By doing so, CGA ensures that every milestone and skill is mastered before progressing to more challenging material.
CGA has also implemented a comprehensive system to monitor and track the academic growth of each student. Weekly assessments in all subjects allow teachers to identify areas that require further review, ensuring that active and engaging learning takes place throughout the year. The results of this proactive approach to education have been truly remarkable, showcasing the dedication and commitment of both the exceptional curriculum team and the devoted teaching staff.

As one of our dedicated teachers, who has been part of the CGA team for over 8 years, Mrs. Chana Landa, said: “This year has truly been the best year at CGA due to the phenomenal staff, especially the curriculum coordinator. The teachers received tremendous support throughout the year to be able to cater to the needs of each student at their own level. We have a new system to assess what the students learned and retained from the weekly lessons. My students would joyfully come to school each day since they felt safe, loved, understood and supported.”
In celebration of the year’s accomplishments, CGA hosted an award ceremony that brought together students and their mothers. This year, the ceremony took on a fun and engaging twist with the introduction of an academic Blooket online game. Mothers and daughters joined forces to tackle a variety of challenging questions spanning the subjects of Chumash/Dikduk, Science, and History. The mothers were astounded by the knowledge their daughters had acquired throughout the year.
During the ceremony, CGA presented Middos Tovos Awards and Ahavas Yisroel Awards. Students were also recognized for their exceptional academic performance and personal growth- each student received recognition for their unique achievements.
Our CGA mothers expressed their gratitude and appreciation as they’ve witnessed tremendous growth in their daughters. Mrs. Feige Gorodetsky, CGA parent, remarked “We will miss CGA! It was hard for me to say goodbye today, thank you for everything! Chana has really blossomed from the moment she entered your school. We have so much appreciation and admiration for you!”
Mrs. Sara Korn, board member and parent, expressed: “I have had the zechus to be an involved parent at CGA since its first year in 2012. Over the years I’ve witnessed the school’s growth. This past year has been the best one yet. Our new curriculum director is incredible. My daughter is flourishing socially and academically. I’m very grateful. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. I know it will be bright.”

As Mrs. DL Kramer, Director and Principal, notes: “I was able to witness amazing growth in the academics department this year. What made the biggest impact on our school was providing the teachers with curriculum mentorship weekly, and a student friendly curriculum that was engaging and motivating across both Kodesh and Chol subjects. I feel this was a key factor in the success of our school. We were able to keep track of every students’ level of learning to ensure academic growth. We also ran staff training workshops that changed the teaching styles of our staff enhancing the learning experiences of our students. Throughout the year, our students learned real lifes skills during elective sessions such as karate and self defense, embroidery, sports and art, providing outlets for the students in different areas. The atmosphere in the school was met with warmth, care and connection. The teachers felt supported and the students felt cared for on a daily basis. With Hashem’s help and the Rebbe’s guidance and Brochos, we look forward to another successful year ahead 2023-24.
