A rocket launched from the Gaza Strip on Monday hit a residential building in Ashkelon, killing at least one, and leaving several others injured.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMS teams and ambulance crews assisted in the evacuation and treatment of a woman in her 30’s who was seriously injured when a rocket struck her apartment building in Ashkelon. Following thorough searches in the wreckage of the building together with the Fire Department, a man was found dead in the rubble.
Another rocket hit an Israeli bus carrying Israel Defense Forces soldiers, leaving a 19-year-old in critical condition.
IDF said that at least 400 launches were identified, with about 60 interceptions by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system.Reports suggest that Gaza militant factions intentionally coordinated the attack on the bus with a precision rocket in the afternoon, expecting to cause greater casualties at the end of the school day, but Israel was said to order the closure of schools following the preceding evening’s escalation.
Among the regions where sirens sounded were: Sdot Negev, Ashkelon Beach, Shaar Hanegev and Eshkol. MDA reported that three people were lightly injured by shrapnel from an attack on Sderot.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has convened the Security Cabinet to discuss dealing with the deteriorating situation.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated that IDF fighter planes began attacking terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip after heavy barrages were launched towards southern communities. In addition, tanks bombard Hamas positions in the northern Gaza Strip.
Due to the security situation, all residents of Sedot Negev were instructed to stay close to protected areas at all times. In the event of a red color alarm, enter protected spaces.
A #Hamas mortar fell on this bus earlier on. That’s what we confront- murderous terrorists bent on death and destruction. We will protect our population at all cost . pic.twitter.com/eESu12JOOt

What are the names for Tehilim
With 400 rockets hitting Israel and the only dead victim was an illegal Arab fellow, why are the mostly secular Jews from these targeted areas asleep spiritually. Don’t they see it’s a wake up call. And the israeli secular leadership fears even killing one terrorist in Gaza as they make sure to hit empty buildings. This is crazy. They can’t even fight today an enemy in Gaza that has no tanks,no planes,no ships and no real army. It’s amazing when you compare 1967 when israel was outnumbered and outgunned and yet won. What has changed is the increased rebellion in Israel… Read more »
Trump for Prime Minister. He would go.in and get the job done.We need strength now.💪💪💪👀👀👀
What’s going on?? Moshiach we are completely ready to greet You! Please Hashem No more Suffering or Pain
ONLY Joy and Happiness foerver’.
Secular Jews in israel and America have no brains. They give 15 million cash to Gaza. The liberal democratic jewish loons supported the 150 billion dollars to Iran. It’s getting crazy.
The man killed in Ashkelon was an illegal “Palestinian”, according to Arutz Sheva.
From Arutz Sheva website: “The man who was killed from a rocket which hit a building in Ashkelon is a Palestinian Arab who had resided in Israel illegally.” May Hashem continue to protect us and keep us all safe!
How can the Israeli government be so naive to even consider the possibility of Hamas or any other Palestinian faction for that matter ever ceasing its efforts to obliterate the Jewish state.
After Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005, the Palestinians were in the position to establish a democratically elected government that would utilize the vast amount of resources that the Gaza strip contained, but instead the foolish Palestinian people chose to elect a murderous terrorist group.
Until the Hamas pigs are killed there will be no peace in the Middle East.
Its now 300 rockets fired at israel. Israel keeps hitting empty buildings in gaza. They just destroyed hamas tv station there after warning them 1st.
we want Moshaich now
All we can do is pray that G-D will help us in times of need and in times of hardships such as this.
Israel our prayers are with you
Israel just had 15 million dollars sent to hamas from quatar and gave gaza almost 24 hrs of electricity up from 4 hrs so now they can bomb better. Now pursuing cease fire so hamas can arm for next round.
It’s pretty clear that we haven’t destroyed enough empty buildings.
Go IDF!
HaShem Ysmor. Only good news.
