Concluding the school year at Bais Rivkah School in Crown Heights, teachers and staff of all divisions of the school gathered for Teachers Appreciation events.
The luncheon events, which have been done annually for the past few years, are sponsored by Rabbi Shloimy and Mirele Greenwald, and include a lavish buffet spread.
The events were organized with the help of Mrs. Sara Blau, and are “important to show appreciation to the mechanchim of our community, the individuals that make the school year happen through their dedication and devotion.”
In each of the division events, principals thanked the teachers and Staff for their year-round dedication to their students.
Enhancing the event was a boards making presentation by Rosie Levertov of Boardz.
Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald, community activist and sponsor of the events, spoke at each of the events. He expressed appreciation to the school as a parent and supporter. Rabbi Greenwald spoke about the importance of Hakaras Hatov, and mentioned times when the Rebbe expressed hakaras hatov to various individuals and what we learn from it.
Special thanks to Shneur Nejar for his assistance in arranging these events.
