The Krinsky and Samrick families joined together to celebrate the completion of a Torah in memory of David Samrick (Dovid ben Tzvi Hirsh), and Hindi Krinsky-Kanarfogel, (Hinda Leah bas Menachem Mendel Shyichye).
The event began with the writing of the final letters in the home of Mendel and Miriam Krinsky, followed by a joyous procession to Anshei Lubavitch Shul on Albany Avenue for hakofos and a seudas mitzvah.
Many family and friends from both near and far of the Krinsky and Samrick families joined the simcha, as well as members of the Anshei Lubavitch Shul.
A participant at the event remarked how special it was that two unique individuals, who lived in different cities, shared a common focus on Jewish education and Jewish youth, and the beautiful event was a fitting tribute to them both.

Best shul/community in crown heights!
Hindi A”H was my daughter’s classmate. Such a terrible tragedy, may this sefer Torah bring menuchas hanefesh to her entire family.
Hindi A”H was a force to be reckoned with. She touched so many people in her short life. She was brilliant, beautiful and laugh-out-loud funny. She had the ability to connect with people with her warmth and wit like no other. I miss her dearly. May her family and beautiful children find comfort.
