A beautiful ceremony was held to welcome a new Torah scroll at the Chabad House for English Speakers in Moscow.
Participating were Chief Rabbi of Russia Rabbi Berel Lazar, the Rabbi of the community Rabbi Yaakov Klein, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia Rabbi Alexander Boroda, the US Ambassador to Russia, Israel’s ambassador to Russia, distinguished donors, family members and members of the larger community.
The Chabad House for English speakers in Moscow is strategically located in the center of Moscow, and together with its unique atmosphere and varied activity, the center is very popular, especially for prayers and Torah and Chassidus classes throughout the week.
The center is directed by Rabbi Yaakov Klein, the rabbi of the community, together with his wife, who managed to unite the English-speaking Jews in Moscow into a united and cohesive community, which is reflected in celebrations, holidays and more.
