The central Yud Tes Kislev Farbrengen of Tzfas was held in the Khan Adom, an ancient stone building that was built in the 13th century, some 170 years ago.
Hundreds of people participated in the celebration marking the Rosh Hashana of Chassidus. Among them were Tens of people from the local Chassidic communities that have been learning the Alter Rebbe’s Tanya.
Leading it were Rabbi Mordechai Bistritzky, Head Shliach Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, Shliach Rabbi Eliyahu Friedman, Rabbi Elyakim Wolf, Rabbi Dovid Zev Reich and Rabbi Yisroel Chaim Hurwitz of the Sanz community, and Rabbi Nachman Kenig of the Breslav community.
A guest speaker was Rabbi Aharon Brier, a Mashpia of the Mayanei Yisroel organization. He spoke about the importance to learn Chassidus on a regular basis and incorporating its teaching in daily life.
