With the historic milestone of 75 years of the Rebbe’s leadership just days away, the Central Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim – 770 is wrapping up a range of initiatives to prepare for this special day.
This increase in learning spans across various tracks within the Yeshivah:
Among the American Talmidim, a focus was placed on writing Chidushei Torah, with a Kovetz Haaros set to be published in honor of Yud Shvat. Additionally, this group has taken upon themselves to collectively memorize 75 Mamorim. Many have chosen to learn the Basi Legani Mamarim connected to this year.
Amongst the Kevutza (graduates of Yeshivas in Eretz Yisroel), two gatherings took place a month before Yud Shvat to reinvigorate and prepare for this special day. Hachlatos were taken in two primary areas: prompt attendance of the Yeshivah Seder, and increasing in learning the Rebbe’s Torah, including learning at least one Yud Shvat Farbrengen.
The effects of these gatherings are clearly visible upon walking into 770, especially at the start of Seder Chassidus in the morning. Names of the Talmidim promptly adhering to the Sidrei Hayeshivah are sent daily to the Rebbe.
All this is in addition to the regular learning led by the Hanhalas Hayeshivah, with special Shiurim every night on Basi Legani 5725-5745 from Rabbis Shloime Kaplan and Michoel Golomb, in Hebrew and English.
Chassidim around the world are preparing for Yud Shvat, and as the heart of Chabad Lubavitch, the 770 Yeshivah is at the forefront.
