US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman paid a personal visit to the Rebbe’s Ohel in Cambria Heights, Queens, on Thursday evening.
Friedman, who was joined by his wife Tammy, will be the guest speaker at the gala banquet of the International Kinus Hashluchim in New York.
Friedman participated in the Kinus Hashluchim 4 years ago, as a supporter of Chabad of the Five Towns, directed by his close friend, Rabbi Zalman Wolowik.
Rabbi Wolowik was there to greet the Friedmans along with Chabad activist Rabbi Shlomo Peles.
The banquet will be held this Sunday at The New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, NJ, culminating the annual conference of Chabad Shluchim.
The evening draws thousands of rabbis, family members, supporters and community members for a sit-down dinner coupled with inspiring speeches, video productions and dancing to Chassidic music.
