Hundreds of women from around Israel traveled north to the city of Tzfas to attend a grand reunion gathering celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Beit Chana Seminary.
After not seeing each other for years, it was a chance for them to catch up on their friends’ lives. Many alumni – especially the American students who flock to the seminary – attended via live broadcast over the web.
The evening opened with a video of the Rebbe and the reading of Kapital 111 in Tehillim. Rabbi Mordechai Bistritzky, rov of the local Chabad community, was honored with making a siyum.
A choir, led by alumn Chaya Marantz, sang some of the nostalgic songs girls would sing over the years. A special film combined photos and video clips showing live in the seminary.
Its director Rabbi Yosef Chitrik gave an overview of how the girls seminary has grown and become one of the most sought-after educational institutions for Chabad girls ending high school.
At the chinese auction to benefit the seminary, a U.S. dollar bill that was handed by the Rebbe was raffled off.
Mrs. D. Brill and Michoel Kaplin Productions were thanked for organizing the evening.
