Boys of the Aliya Institute of Crown Heights joined for a Shabbaton in Wilkes Barre, PA with Rabbi Moshe Feiglin and Rabbi Uri Perelman.
They were joined for Shabbos by Zaki Tamir, Chairman of the CHJCC and community activist, who is also an alum of Aliya.
After a warm Shabbos hosted by the Perelman and Green families, Motzei Shabbos was spent farbrenging and enjoying a bonfire.
Sunday the group enjoyed skiing at Mount Sno in Scranton, PA.
“Shabbos was incredible,” related Tamir. “The two Rabbis, Perelman and Feiglin, are real professionals – they love the guys, and the bochurim feel it.
“They connect to the youth in a way that I haven’t seen anyone be able to before. They are true leaders, and as far as I have seen are game changers for our kids.”
