On Wednesday, January 4, at 3:09 PM, a man walked into Albany Bagel, a kosher shop in Crown Heights, and robbed the place for available money.
The man first went behind the counter and knocked down the woman employee to the floor.
He then proceeded to take her phone and the money that was laying on the counter and ran off.
According to a report, the employee immediately called the NYPD, but it took them an hour and a half to arrive.
The owner filed a police report and the thief was clearly seen in surveillance footage from the store’s camera. Nevertheless, the thief has yet to be caught.
The store is located at 513 Albany Avenue, between Lefferts Avenue and East New York Avenue. It is next door to Sauce N Cheese and across the street from Lefferts Park.

CH Stores should install those red panic button behind the counter, that automatically alerts and calls the NYPD, Shmira and Shomrim.
It’s pretty cheap to install and there are almost a dozen local Lubavitcher owned low voltage / video camera companies that can install these panic buttons. Look into it.
But most important is to check the Mezuzahs.
Unless I missed it, because I never heard of this new bagel shop.

This company put the metal store gates on about half the stores on Kingston Avenue.

Keep happening from those who say they are oppressed. Behaving like human beings in public would go along way to improving their own status in the world.
they’re behaving as humans, as they think appropriate. they don’t just say they’re oppressed, they’re conditioned to believe they are, and that they’re entitled, etc. we’re all conditioned into a certain belief system which we consider right. if we want everyone around us to consider what we consider right, as right, it’ll take at least one full generation of indoctrination of common-definition-of-right

Police dont want to be bothered. If they come an hour late they wont have to arrest anyone. Anyone arrested for robbery is set loose immediately so why bother

It is not about black vs. Jew.
It is simply people on the lower socioeconomic ladder that can end up behaving in this reprehensible manner.
In order to fix this we must realize this is the case and show love and humanity to our black and gentile neighbors. This way they will feel a sense of responsibility to elevate and empower those who are disenfranchised.

Or perhaps at the local precinct? That is the way other communities react and it gets them news coverage and raises general awareness. Because we don’t do anything — and we keep voting in the people (Dems) who do not respond to our concerns, the city government does not respond in a meaningful way.
This was written before noticing the article on the new police recruits. Maybe it’s not such a great idea. Will all those new police officers be assigned to the 71st precinct? How many will be walking the streets of Jewish Crown Heights? Will it be enough to make a real difference?
All owners must ensure that no one is left at the front of stores alone. There must always be at least two workers in the front together at all times. Or a security guard in the store.

you must be a very young person if you think “a generation” will make this activity disappear. this kind of harmful behavior is more than one generation old and is fed by an upbringing that teaches ” the whole world, especially the jews, owe me.” it won’t stop unless the victimization attitude is discouraged, better still, . regarded as a loser’s attitude.
