As the countdown to the 10th Annual CTeen Shabbaton draws to a close, hundreds of CTeen Chapters are making their way to Crown Heights and photographed their travels to be shared with friends.
Delegations from France, Russia, Brazil, England, and Israel arrived last night, with thousands more expected to arrive tonight. The streets are Crown Heights are already alive with the sound of teens singing and cheering.
“Stepping off the plane, the energy already feels different,” shared Sarah Hinkediker from Panama City, Panama. “I can’t wait to see what kind of surprises CTeen has put together for this weekend.”
The Shabbaton kicked off Thursday night with registration and dinner at Oholei Torah; Friday, teens will venture to Manhattan for a day of exploring and inspiration.
“CTeen staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly through the night to prepare for this momentous Shabbaton,” shared Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Chairman of CTeen.
One thing’s for sure: CTeen is ready to take over Crown Heights.
Amazing – kudos to all the shluichim and their hard work. (And of course to the rebbe who is conducting the show)
