It has been 17 years that a group of men gather each Tuesday night in Crown Heights for a weekly shiur with Rabbi Ari Chitrik, a talmid chacham and businessman.
The shiur, organized by Congregation Bais Shmuel Chabad, is held at the Beis Binyomin shul on Montgomery Street and broadcast live over the phone for others to join.
Following the shiur, detailed points of the subject that was learned is posted on a special blog www.shiurpoints.com, accompanied by illustrative photos, references and additional explanations.
This week, those who attended the shiur moved to another location: Mei Chaya Mushka Mikvah on Troy Avenue.
The tour of the modern-designed mikvah concluded 6 months of learning the halachos of Mikvah, explains Rabbi Moshe Pinson, who heads both Bais Shmuel and the Mikvah.
During the tour, Rabbi Chitrik illustrated the various points that were learned from luminaries such as the Rambam, Raavad, Shach and Taz.
