I am told by Askanim in other communities that it is very important that our community is represented in the halls of government. Many important services have been brought to the community because of these efforts — with help to local residents in education, housing, social services, healthcare, public safety, and transportation.

Unfortunately the only news that we ever hear some news about our Community Council is when they have a photo-op.
