Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, the Executive Vice President Emeritus of the Orthodox Union was recently interviewed as part of the My Encounter with the Rebbe project. He shared a powerful story that has affected his life until today. The episode took place in February of 1971, when he was living in Silver Spring, Maryland.

How often do we meet a so called stranger and before long they share with you an amazing experience they personally had with the Rebbe. This has left me thinking how many lessons painfully remain unlearned because people are concerned what will the scoffers say about me if I let it be known of my personal contact with the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
