Mamesh Music, in partnership with Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch and Chassidic Expressions Art and Music School, is proud to introduce an exclusive 10-week instrumental program designed for boys of the Crown Heights community.
This initiative blends the power of music with the depth of Chassidus, creating a structured and enriching opportunity for boys to learn to play an instrument in a group setting—all within a carefully crafted curriculum focusing solely on Chabad nigunim and a true chassidishe atmosphere.
Why Music? Why Now?
Leisure time is more than just a break from learning—it’s an opportunity to channel energy into something uplifting and deeply connected to the neshama. Learning to play an instrument enhances cognitive skills, fosters discipline, and strengthens a boy’s connection to the depth of Chassidus through the timeless melodies of our Rebbeim and Mashpiim. This program provides an outlet that is both meaningful and productive, reinforcing Torah values while developing musical skills.
Program for boys ages 10-15:
10 Wednesdays from 25 Nissan (April 23) – 29 Sivan (June 25). Small performance in the last session.
Instrument options: Flute, clarinet, saxophone or trumpet
45-minute group sessions at 4:15, 5:15, or 6:15 PM
Beginners & intermediate students welcome (maximum of 10 students per class)
Location: OYYL Binyan Sheleg, 333 Albany Ave (between Eastern Pkwy & Union)
Final performance for parents on the last session
$350 for the full 10-session course (includes classes & booklets; instrument & music stand not included)

Instrument Ownership or Rental
Each student must have access to an instrument and a foldable music stand. If purchasing an instrument is not an option, rentals are available through www.musicarts.com at the following rates:
Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet – $50 per month (includes $10/month insurance) + $20 music stand
Alto Saxophone – $75 per month (includes $10/month insurance) + $20 music stand
