57 students from grades 2-4 in United Lubavitcher Yeshiva in Crown Heights who learned at least a Perek Tanya Be’al Peh were rewarded with a trip to Madd Fun, a Family Entertainment Center in Brooklyn.
Principal Rabbi Yosef Simpson who has been encouraging the Talmidim from preschool age to study Tanya by heart, personally tested the boys.
“It’s a pleasure hearing the Talmidim saying the Tanya so fluently… our goal is to have all the Talmidim complete 12 Perokim in time for their Bar Mitzvah,” he said.
Special thanks to Rabbi Mordechai and Mrs. Kanelsky, from the “Bas Sheva Mitzvah Campaign” for sponsoring the trip and encouraging the boys.
