On 4 Adar, the army of Tzivos Hashem lost one of its precious soldiers; Levi Yitzchok Wolowik a’h. A sefer torah is being written in his memory, by Tzivos Hashem boys and girls across the nation.
On Sunday, 7 Cheshvan, a national Tanya Learn – a – thon was started, in honor of Yud Tes-Chof Kislev and in memory of Levi.
The idea of this Learn- a- thon is simple; children are going to be learning Tanya bal peh while at the same time they will be raising money to help fund this sefer torah, this means the torah will be entirely made by their efforts.
Everyone is encouraged to participate for the effect that this project can have on your children is powerful, for besides his personal gain by learning Tanya in honor of Rosh Hashana Lechassidus, the feeling that he will have by joining together with children his age across the nation to make a sefer torah in memory of a fellow soldier is indescribable.
To date over 30 schools across the nation have joined this amazing project.
The program is running until Zayin Kislev. The raffle for some amazing prizes will be held Yud Tes Kislev.
