Following decades of selling black fedoras to the frum Jewish community through private stores, the legendary Italian hat maker Borsalino has opened its very first shop in New York.
With a L’chaim opening event, the Borsalino Brand Store at 2917 Ave J in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn was officially opened on Sunday.
Similar to its branches in Israel, this new store emphasizes the uniqueness of its hats that have been worn for generations by Lubavitch chassidim and Yishivish Jews alike.
The new store, the first in the Unites States that carries the name of the Italian brand that was founded in 1857, will be selling quality hats for men and boys with the advantage of close proximity to Jewish neighborhoods, including Crown Heights. Prices begin at $190.
They can be reached at 718-677-0100.

over priced, don’t last, waste of $, good as a Shabbos only hat, not an every day hat
