Tickets are now on sale for the annual Machon L’Yahadus Boutique Auction!
Machon L’Yahadus’ exclusive auction features an exciting and unusual grand prize – a dollar received from the Lubavitcher Rebbe on 8 Sivan, 5746 (June 15, 1986).
Tickets for this priceless prize are just $20 and can be purchased on www.MachonAuction.com.
The Boutique auction, which features other exciting prizes including a ZELDA wig, $1,000 cash, $1,200 at Tzfasman Jewelers, and $1,000 at Everything But the Baby is a vital fundraiser for Machon L’Yahadus, a women’s seminary in the heart of Crown Heights.
Rabbi Shloma Majeski, principal of Machon L’yahadus, shared, “This year, our students hail from across the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Israel, Brazil, Panama, Ukraine, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Papua New Guinea.
“Each of them has come here to discover their true heritage and we make sure they receive individual attention and guidance and the knowledge, skills, and direction they need to build their own beautiful Jewish futures. Weekly, young women contact us about applying for our upcoming semester or attending for a few weeks through our Taste of Yeshiva program. They hesitantly ask about tuition costs and we put smiles on their faces when we let them know that we never turn away a student for financial reasons.”
“We have created this Chinese auction,” Rabbi Majeski continued, “to give our community the opportunity to partner with us in giving our current and future students the chance to live a life filled with the warmth and beauty of Torah, mitzvos, and chassidus. In the Zechus of your participation and Tzedakah, may Hashem Bentch each one of you with infinite blessings in every area of your life!”
The drawing will be held at the Boutique Auction event, which will take place on Motzoei Shabbos Chof Ches Teves, January 25, 2020 at the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva Hall, 570 Crown Street. All women and girls are invited to this magical evening which will celebrate the birthday of Rebbetzin Chana. As you choose from the spectacular collection of prizes, you will be treated to a decadent dairy buffet generously sponsored by Kaf Kaffe, Brooklyn Artisan Bakehouse and Chocolatte!
Back by popular demand, Mrs. Miriam Friedfertig will be the master of ceremonies for the evening and stand up comedian Zehavit Rosenbloom will have you laughing all night long as she details her personal journey to Torah and Mitzvos!
