Another failed round of IVF.
Another month with no news.
Another miscarriage.
Sounds like a nightmare? Unfortunately, this is a painful reality for hundreds of young Chabad couples struggling with infertility.
Disappointment, pain, yearning. Endless doctor visits, appointments, trials, treatments. And those are the lucky ones, the ones who can navigate the challenging medical terrain, track down the right doctors, and somehow come up with the exorbitant fees needed to cover various treatments as they turn their worlds upside in pursuit of something that so many others take for granted.
While the bracha for children is something that we can’t control, there are often outside factors that can directly affect a couple’s fate: finding the right doctor who can create a proper care plan, an advisor who gives the moral support to try yet another treatment, or a grant to cover life-changing treatment.
This is where Bonei Olam comes in.
What we do is simple: we make the process easier. Whether that means consulting our network of top doctors and medical professionals, talking to halachic authorities before complicated procedures, or providing grants and loans for expensive treatments, we’re there to help Chabad couples navigate the trying world of infertility treatment.
And it makes a difference: in the last 5 years, we’ve witnessed over 290 living miracles in the worldwide Chabad community.
And by “we,” we mean you, too. In 5 years, we’ve spent $5 million+ helping Chabad couples, and that’s something we could only have accomplished with your help.
Today, we’re racing against the clock to raise funds for more couples and individuals who are on our waiting list—who are waiting for a chance at parenthood. Here’s how you can help:
A dollar a week.
That’s all it takes.
Our new Vzakeini project operates on a simple premise: give one dollar to Bonei Olam every Friday before lighting Shabbos candles. With 18,000 women on board, that’s $18,000 per week—the cost of one course of IVF treatment.
That’s one couple each week that gains a chance at parenthood.
This week, as you light your Shabbos candles, join thousands of women from all backgrounds and all across the world as we take advantage of this Eis Ratzon and come together to support our fellow women b’gashmius and b’ruchnius in the ultimate tzedaka.
“…It is highly desirable that such an important Mitzvo [lighting Shabbos candles] should have a special “reminder” that would further emphasize the deeper significance of this Mitzvo… the most suitable way is to connect it with money, since money is the medium wherewith one fulfills the mitzvah of Tzedaka, its being an especially great Mitzvah since the giver could have used the money to buy his own needs, yet gives it selflessly to a needy person, and thereby does an act of lifesaving.” —The Rebbe, Igros Kodesh
This Friday, you can be #1of18k.
