Collectively we transformed a modest idea into an initiative with truly global reach! Close to 800 woman world wide joined together in a virtual Hakhel Challah Bake this past Tu B’av, a day historically associated with shidduchim to daven for 2,400 singles and yeshuos and refuos for Klal Yisroel.
Whether we baked in our own kitchen or in groups, b’achdus each of us gave Tzdaka, recited the Rebbe’s Kapital and listened to a Dvar Torah podcast by the gifted shlucha, Mrs. Sarah Raskin, Chabad Cote S, Luc, Montreal Canada. After reading each single’s name we made an hachlota to influence at least one woman to take on the mitzvah of lighting Shabbos candles before or in honor of Rosh Hashana.
Each day draws us closer to Rosh Hashana! If you made an Hachlota to inspire another woman or girl to light Shabbos Candles before or in honor of Rosh Hashana, please remember to fulfill your Hachlota!
From the countries or continents of Australia, South Africa, Israel, Europe, South America, USA and Canada, thank you for your amazing participation!
We apologize to those who did not make the deadline to be slotted into our whatsapp groups. Although you may not have been entered, we tried our best to add your children to the list of singles being davened for, and, you can still be part of the Hakhel, by joining in Miftza Neshek – impress upon someone the importance of lighting Shabbos/Yomtov Candles before or in honor of Rosh Hashana!
May the Hakhel Tu B’av Challah Bake undertaking and the ensuing fulfillment of our Mitzvah Neshek Hachlota culminate in each and every single discovering their Zivug B’korev! May you all be bentched with a Ksiva Vechasima Tova, with Moshiach Now!
REMINDER: You may have made an HACHLOTA to encourage someone to LIGHT SHABBOS CANDLES, before or in honor of Rosh Hashana! Please don’t forget to follow up!
